Weather My Trains is co-owned by the Husband-Wife team of Rob Arsenault, CD, QDJM and the lovely Christina Bower-Arsenault. Rob is a full time professional fine artist with more than 45 years of experience producing aviation, rail art and, more recently, realistic weathering!

Rob's aviation paintings (page bottom) are featured in several books and Canadian museums. Five of his rail paintings were purchased by the Canadian National Railway and those paintings were later reproduced as signed, limited edition prints for CN Corporate gifts. 

Rob was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 for his efforts to document the RCAFs rich aviation history and through multiple donations of original aviation art to several Canadian Aircraft museums. 

Rob has been weathering trains and construction equipment full-time since 2016. We ship worldwide and Rob has weathered thousands of models in different scales for customers around the globe!

Rob works very hard make today's premium priced fine scale models even BETTER through judicious application of realistic weathering techniques using professional, colour fast materials and prototypical ESU sound (although weathering is the 'core' business). There are no shortcuts to quality! Weathering colors are custom professional Fine Art acrylic mixes that are modified and blended specifically to make your models look their absolute BEST using Rob's decades of fine art/colour mixing experience.  Worldwide service/shipping is always available.  Rob has more than 45 years of experience as a Fine Artist. 

Rob's original marine art, "Remembering Nick," features the Marine Atlantic Motor Vessel John Hamilton Gray in loving memory of our dear friend - the late, GREAT, Nick Pineo. Nick was a dear Family Friend. He served as the Chief Electrician aboard this vessel for decades. 

Rob's primary painting subject has been Canadian Cold War era military aircraft. See below for a few samples.
