Manufacturer's new releases always take priority over all commissioned work

If I believe I can do it, I'll weather pretty much any model. 

Wait times for commission work are subject to workload and manufacturer's new releases. Your patience is genuinely appreciated. 

Weather My Trains is fully registered Importer and Exporter by the Government of Canada and is licensed by Edmonton's Municipal Government. Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) is applicable to all sales picked up in person or shipped to any Canadian Address as required by Federal Law. Prices on this website do not include (applicable) GST/HST nor shipping.

Prices listed in the galleries below are HO scale weathering rates only.

Weathering work to/from Canadian, Australian and New Zealand addresses are billed in CAD$.  Weathering services for customers in all other countries are charged in USD$.

Light and Medium : 0.7 x the corresponding HO rate

Heavy: Same as the HO rates

HO SCALE CONTAINERS

Light Weathering: $20

Medium weathering (grime only): $35

Heavy weathering (Road grime / rust / scrapes / patches ): from $50 

-----EXCEPTIONS TO OUR WEATHERING DISCOUNT POLICY-----

No discounts on rolling stock/locomotives with paint fading, 

heavy chipping or hand-painted primer showing. 

Potash cars with rusting are all heavy jobs (no discounts on Potash cars)

SPECIAL CASES

Steam locomotive and tender are classified as 2 items (1 Locomotive and a car).  Scaletrains Big Blow turbines are 2 locos and 1 freight car for pricing purposes. 

3 and 5 car well sets are priced at 3 and 5 cars respectively.

REFLECTIVE TAPE (HO and O scale equipment)

Standard (by Smokebox Graphics or Fusion Scale graphics) for HO Locomotive $20,

IMPORTANT NOTES

As an authorized ESU dealer, I offer ESU DCC upgrades/programming/speakers only on HO scale diesel models with 21pin motherboards and Factory LEDs and subject to current workload. Unfortunately, I no longer offer LED upgrades 

(a gift from Mother Nature and my Ocular Surgeon in 2022). 

Please understand that weathering, as my core business, always gets priority. 

FREIGHT OPTIONS

***SHIPMENTS TO CANADA AND FOREIGN COUNTRIES (EXCEPT USA)***

Unless otherwise requested, all domestic shipments are via Canada Post Expedited Service and all International shipments are via Canada Post Xpress Post. 

All mail shipments are loss insured. International (Express) shipments are insured to a maximum of CAD$1000 with other mail options maxed out at CAD$700.

All domestic shipments are loss-insured for actual value. 

***SHIPMENTS TO THE USA***

All outbound shipments to USA will be with UPS Standard/Ground but FEDEX can be used upon request. UPS and FEDEX shipments will be insured for the full declared value.

Shipment tracking number will be provided same day as your package is dispatched. It will also be added some time later to your online invoice.
