Canada Post made another offer to the union yesterday!
OUTBOUND SHIPMENTS
We are prepared to utilize UPS (Ground recommended) for outbound shipments to Canada/USA or hold your shipment here at your request/discretion until the postal dispute has ended. Courier rates to locations outside of Canada/USA are FAR too costly. We recommend waiting for a postal system service restoration but we will quote a UPS rate if requested to overseas locations.
INBOUND SHIPMENTS
We suggest utilizing UPS Ground or FedEx for inbound shipments to us until the Postal Dispute has been resolved and mail is moving again.
Like all small businesses in Canada, we are very disappointed and anxiously monitoring this situation daily as the strike drags on.
We will consult with each customer individually in the shipping decision until the issues at Canada Post have been resolved. Your invoices will not contain shipping charges until we know which approach works best for you.
Please note that Couriers may not deliver to rural areas in Canada (as they often contract Canada Post for that service).
We will bill freight separately in most cases at least for the time being.
